Fun Fact

I remained very close to my First Grade teacher, Sister Andrea Prindes of the Joliet Franciscan Sisters, throughout my life until her death near the age of 100 just a few years ago. Every time I have ever written or published anything, whether it was a book or a chapter or an article, the very first copy always went to her with the same note on it that read: Dear Sister Andrea, You taught me how to read and write in the First Grade. This is your work, not mine. Love from Your First Grader, Father Michael, O.P.
