Corpus Christi Novena 2023

The Year of Parish Revival will kick off on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, which we celebrate on June 11 this year. As we prepare for this second phase of the three-year National Eucharistic Revival, we invite you to join us in praying a Corpus Christi novena [English | Spanish]. This novena will begin the Friday before the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, June 2, and conclude the Saturday before the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, June 10.

Each day will feature a brief reflection on an important event within salvation history:

  • The Creation of the World
  • The Feast of Passover
  • The Manna in the Desert
  • The Nativity of Christ
  • The Institution of the Eucharist
  • The Sacrifice of the Cross
  • The Resurrection
  • The Eucharist in the Life of the Church
  • The Wedding Feast of the Lamb

While each meditation can be completed in under ten minutes, you can also take the time that you need to ponder the mysteries of each reflection and let the Holy Spirit lead your meditation.

Download this free novena prayer companion in both English and Spanish, and invite others to pray with you!
