The Revival Movement and Its Milestone Moments

In an age marked by division and doubt, we need Jesus more than ever. We need him to heal us, convert us, form us, and unify us in his Real Presence. And nowhere are we closer to Jesus than in the gift of the Eucharist.

The Holy Spirit is inviting the Church in the United States into a season of profound renewal. In response to this invitation, the U.S. bishops have called for a three-year initiative: the National Eucharistic Revival.

The Revival is a grassroots movement to rekindle a living faith in the hearts of Catholics across America. Through life-changing local initiatives and unprecedented national gatherings, we will be sent out to share our Eucharistic faith with the world.

We are currently in year two of the Revival, which will include a National Eucharistic Pilgrimage and culminate in the first National Eucharistic Congress in 83 years. Read on to learn more about the Revival and each of its milestone moments!

National Eucharistic Revival

Revival is not something we DO. It is a sovereign act of God. If we respond to his invitation with open hearts, he promises to do the rest. Get ready to be a part of something life-changing!

The Holy Spirit is asking Catholics across America to respond to four invitations. The first invitation calls for a renewed attentiveness to HOW we worship. The second invitation calls us to a renewed encounter with WHO we worship. The third invitation calls us to discover in greater depth WHY we worship Jesus in the Eucharist and what this incredible gift means. The fourth invitation calls us to ACT on our faith, bringing Christ to others and spreading the flame of revival.

Our whole-hearted, grassroots response to these invitations is what makes up the Revival movement. Already, historic initiatives are flowing from our national effort to cooperate with God’s grace!

While this movement pours outward in very public ways, it is important to remember that the Revival starts in our own hearts. Access this free library of digital resources to learn more about the reality of Jesus in the Eucharist and fall more deeply in love with him.

National Eucharistic Pilgrimage

This is a truly unique initiative. Just as crowds followed Christ throughout his earthly ministry, our nation will process with our Eucharistic Lord from the north, south, east, and west edges of our country in the first-ever National Eucharistic Pilgrimage.

Join us as we accompany Jesus in the Eucharist across 6,500+ miles of the United States. Thousands will have a powerful opportunity for encounter and healing as Jesus comes to meet them on his way to the 10th National Eucharistic Congress, where he comes to encounter his people anew. Explore the four pilgrimage routes and learn more about how you can participate here.
